Cherokee Drive 4/19/2013
Left snowy Minnesota behind on April 20 after a snowfall of 9+" of snow the day before.  Thank you, Matthew, for taking us to the airport.

We left MPS airport exactly on time.  It was our first flight with Alaska Airlines and was a perfect flight.  Seattle-Tacoma airport is the nicest and one of the largest airports that I have ever traveled through.  Beautiful artwork in the gate passageways and a large atrium food court that allows you to view 360 the landing and departing of charter aircrafts.

Seattle Airport Atrium

Left Seattle on time arrived in Honolulu, HI 5.5 hours later at 9 pm.  Didn't see much of during the ride to the condo as was dark.  Dropped our baggage in the room and joined the hundreds of visitors on the street along Lewers Street for our first night out in Honolulu.  After a quick Hawaiian language lesson; Ahola is hello and Mahalo is thank you we headed back to the condo to get some much needed sleep.
